Privately and a bit publicly, I was told that I my comments were unwanted in the golf thread. I didn't post in there for a week, and decided to start my own thread so that people who "started the thread" could have their own space. I tried to give up the golf talk, but it started gnawing on me, both the castigation, and my desire to talk golf with other church golf guys, so... I'm trying to keep it civil with my own thread.

Please don't make a big deal of it, and maybe you could even edit your comment to reflect less controversy.

We're planning our vacations for the next year, and I think we want to try to get to Oregon or Washington somewhere in the RV. What would you recommend?

Somewhere along the coast might be nice but we're not set on that yet. I'm thinking about 3 or 4 nights.
