Luke will stay. They really like him, they feel that he can pass, and he can help run the offense. If Sasha isn't hitting his shots, he is basically useless. He doesn't defend well, he doesn't initiate the offense, he is too small to rebound, and isn't really lauded by the staff for his passing.

Luke will stay with a huge pay cut. Luke is good because he can initiate the triangle with the second unit or even keep Kobe in it if they're on the floor at the same time.

Sasha is a nightmare. I can't wait until he's gone after last season's performance. He fouls 30' away from the rim and can't throw the ball into the ocean these days.

Yes. Hawaii is out. Health South is IN.

I am actually happy because that means more local coverage.

I read somewhere that Andrew Bynum is working out with Dwight Howard this summer? If that is true, that is wonderful news.

I can't wait to see what this new team can do. NBA season can't come soon enough.

Not sure I agree, but who can really say. I can see Cavs, Magic, or Celtics coming out of the East.

The Cavs wouldn't surprise me again if they had the best record and threatened 70 games or so. But they will be hard pressed to make the finals. I like how they're talking up Anthony Parker as the perimeter shooter they need to stretch the floor. Uh, what about Mo Williams? Pavlovic? Wally World?

The Spurs and Celtics, if healthy, will be legit contenders.

you need to be more observant. This is entirely about the Lakers. It is an object lesson in the vital role the Lakers play in the success of the NBA.

SVG says that the Christmas matchups are between prior Finals teams. When, in reality, they are "usually" between the Lakers and another team. Lakers v Heat twice, for example. I don't recall Spurs/Nets on Christmas Day.

I respect Stan for not questioning the Lakers' inclusion as the marquee game on Christmas Day. It is good for other teams to know their place.

For those that follow NBA kicks closely, is there a recent trend of low-tops making a comeback in the league? I like it.

I think this is a fantastic idea for the Commish. He should do these more often and in other cities when he travels. These are real fans with legit questions.
